Freedom to return to your True Nature.

What we do.

Deep Listening

Everyone has a story, probably one we’ve been telling ourselves for years. We started the story when we were kids, and parts of it evolved to keep us safe and to help us navigate complex situations. As adults, this story can limit how we see ourselves and the world. We help by deeply listening to you and your stories, without judgement, then reflecting back the pieces to help you decide what is still serving you, and what it is time to let go of.

Acupuncture

The ancient art and science of acupuncture began over 3,000 years ago in China. The two main tenants of Chinese medicine are: do you have enough qi (pronounced “chee”), and is it moving in a smooth and rhythmic fashion? Qi is what makes us different from inanimate objects. It’s what enlivens us and connects us to all other living things.

Acupuncture helps to balance our qi through the insertion of thin, single-use, disposable needles into places on our body known as points. There are over 360 points on the body that are organized into energy highways known as meridians. By balancing the energy in our bodies, we can promote the body’s own innate healing and a deep sense of calm.

Chinese Herbs

An effective companion to acupuncture, or simply on their own, Chinese herbal formulas are customizable to your body and your needs right now, therefore minimizing side effects and maximizing efficacy. Chinese herbs are mainly plant-based but can also include minerals or animal products. They can be used internally or topically and can help to balance different systems of the body. Herbs can be as powerful as pharmaceutical drugs and therefore should treated with respect and only taken when prescribed by a certified practitioner.

CranioSacral Therapy

CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands on treatment that seeks to release tension from the membranes and encourage a more balanced flow of cerebrospinal fluid through our central nervous system. CST is useful in treating a variety of ailments including headaches, concussion, neck and back pain, anxiety and side effects from cancer treatment.

Fire Cupping & Gua Sha

Fire cupping is a non-invasive treatment method of placing glass cups on the skin to create suction and encourage blood flow. Similar to receiving a deep tissue massage in a particular area of the body, fire cupping can be helpful for muscular pain, joint pain, respiratory disorders or skin conditions.

Similar to Graston therapy, Gua sha uses a stone or metal tool to rub or scrape the skin in order to improve the circulation of blood and lymph, break down connective tissue adhesions and release scar tissue. It is effective in treating acute and chronic injuries, fibromyalgia, plantar fasciitis and tendonitis.

Gemstone Therapy

With roots on ancient Egyptian and Sumerian societies, gemstones and crystals have been used to promote healing and protection for millennia. Gemstone therapy practices were also popular among Native Americans, Latin America, Tibet and India.

As modern life takes us farther away from living with the rhythms of nature, there is no question that more and more of us, particularly children, are being called to reconnect with the Earth by interacting with crystals in some way. While peer-reviewed scientific studies have not demonstrated the efficacy of this therapy, most people agree that crystals promote a sense of peace, curiosity and delight.
